Serengeti Coaching
3 Levels to Master Your Innate Survival Skills and Become King of Your Jungle
Offered by the Serengeti Institute
(Stefan Swanepoel, best-selling author of “Surviving your Serengeti”, is a frequent guest on all these programs and shares his valuable and interesting insights from his personal experiences of the Serengeti, living in four countries and being President of nine companies).
The Personal Journey
Aimed at individuals, this track focuses on helping people learn more about themselves, and by doing so, improve their relationships at work and in life. This 9-session interactive coaching program is delivered every other week via online webinar with an accredited Serengeti Institute coach.
This coaching program provides participants with an opportunity to “personally” internalize the wisdom and skills of the seven Serengeti animals. Sessions include specific accountability exercises that drive participants to improve their relationships and interaction with others based upon a better understanding of themselves and others.
Discover how to maximize your dominant strengths and simultaneously adopt others to perform better in life, relationships, and business.
This personal journey of discover and growth is intended for:
• Sales people who desire to understand their own skills as well as those they sell to.
• Those who have had or are experiencing a personal Serengeti and want to better understand how to survive or what could be done differently to have a more desirable outcome.
• Employees who desire to perform at a higher level and be recognized for what they do
• Individuals who desire deeper and more personal relationships with their families, children and friends.
• Everyone who plans to participate in the Team Safari or Leadership Expedition programs.
The Team Safari
Aimed at helping teams, this coaching program focuses on significantly expanding your knowledge of others in the workforce. These specific sessions include how to maximize your dominant skill, while better understanding your less dominant skills. How to recognize the “animal” in others and then effectively work with them based upon understanding your and their dominant skill. Reading other people quickly and accurately, realizing where they are coming from and then adjusting your behavior accordingly is an extremely valuable advantage that few people have. This 13-session live program is delivered via webinar every other week and includes individual and team assignments and personal accountability so as to bring about the critical “do” component of the coaching experience. Whether you are the boss, a manager or the employee, this experience will change the way you work as you learn how to choose the right animal types for your team. Overcome the weaknesses of a team by applying each member’s natural skills to specific tasks. Learn accountability, focus, and how to work in any environment as a member of a team whether you selected your teammates or they selected you.
You should enroll in the Team Safari experience if:
• You are or will at some point be part of a team, whether at work, community, public organizations, association etc.
• You are a team leader and desire to understand the perspectives of how teams operate and how to maximize each team member’s performance.
• You want to personally internalize each phase of the Serengeti.
The Leadership Expedition
The Leadership Track takes the previous two tracks to the next level. Aimed at helping managers and leaders more effectively supervise their teams, this track places the emphasis on leadership in the workplace. Often leaders do not get the chance from day one to build a team, but rather inherit a team with many different skills and strengths. So how do you shepherd a bunch of wild “animals” into the #1 Wonder of your Business World?
This 17-session live webinar, held every other week, focuses on supervising and leading teams and groups by utilizing the insights of building strengths and skills in people, ensuring that the suitably skilled people are placed in the appropriate positions, and that people with underdeveloped skills are encouraged to grow. As leaders begin to understand and implement the lessons of the Serengeti, their team members learn to maximize the strengths of each other, building one strong, enduring and efficient herd.
The Leadership Expedition track will help leaders think and learn to adapt different skills as needed to perform their role as a leader. See each individual you lead in a different light and how you can motivate, inspire and lead them with confidence and facilitate more successful outcomes.
You should participate in the leadership track if you are a:
• Corporate executive
• Small business owner
• Manager or team leader
• Person who aspires to any of these roles
